Traditional credit scoring often fails to assess these applicants accurately, perpetuating economic inequality. Additionally, ineffective recovery strategies for those in arrears increase financial distress and default rates.
Recent US statistics show 1 in 5 individuals are refused credit. Vesta Insights aims to tackle these challenges by revolutionising credit assessment and management.

FROM RESEARCH TO REAL-WORLD
INNOVATIONS
Vesta Insights emerged from Veronica Breene’s pioneering research in Explainable AI.
During her PhD, she developed explanations for credit arrears predictions and received positive feedback from former colleagues. This motivated her to transform her research into a business. Starting with a basic algorithm, the product and team quickly grew. Today, Vesta Insights has a dedicated team of eight and 25 algorithms in our Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
